Is the epiphone dr90 a good beginners guitar?

I am looking for a guitar under $300 but i want a fairly good quality and good sounding one.

you should also take a look at the Takamine G320, ive played it and its amazing, i think its $150, not sure.Ofcourse epiphone is good too.Depends on personal preference, but do try all the known brands in your price range, like yamaha (i have a yamaha, electric, 5 years,no problem), others like martin will be costlier.
