“Whole Book of Guitar Chords” or “The Ultimate Guitar Chord Big Book”?

They are both roughly the same price, so I was wondering if anyone knew which one would be better.

– This book will show the guitarist how to find, construct, and play over 25,000 chords. Includes a chord index to make finding any chord fast and easy.

The Ultimate Guitar Chord Big Book = $84.98
– The Ultimate Guitar Chord Big Book is the absolute best and easiest-to-use chord reference book ever written. Every chord form you’ll ever need is presented in simple, dictionary-style sequence. This book has none of the redundancy of typical chord dictionaries. Each chord is presented in simple “movable” fingerings – learn one fingering, then slide it up and down the neck for each of the 12 keys.

Notes: ‘The Ultimate Guitar Chord Big Book’ is substancially higher in price. I do not own either one of these books, and I am happy with how I play guitar. In my opinion… You will do just fine with either one of these books. If you are more of a rock/blues/pop/country guitar player… you would do find without these books… and instead, search for the words “guitar chords” on Google.com Images, or Yahoo.com Images, and learn the guitar chords from those. However, if you want to play JAZZ, then yes I would recommend one of those books, either will do just fine… they both show you all the guitar chords. It eventually comes down to YOU practicing and learning them. I only know the basic chords (major, minor, minor 7, major 7, sus2, 9th, 13th). When I write music… I don’t think about what chord to play… I experiment with notes until I ‘hear’ something I like… Never thinking about what chord it is… only how it sounds… and if I like it. When I’m finished recording a guitar song… I have no idea what chords I used… I just know that I liked the chords I came upon.
